PROFILE
I represented my first client in a Social Security benefits case more
than 25 years ago. Seeing the difference that a dependable
source of income and medical coverage made in her life led me to specialize
in public disability assistance law, including Social Security
Disability Insurance cases (SSD) and applications for Supplemental
Security Income (SSI) and Aid to the Totally and Permanently
Disabled (APTD).
Over the
years, I have also represented many people who
have been seriously injured before judges and juries
in state and federal courts. This courtroom experience has helped me more
effectively represent clients in disability assistance cases, whose outcome
often depends on developing or challenging evidence provided by medical
or vocational experts at administrative hearings.
I have also represented
many clients in state and federal appellate courts,
from the New Hampshire Supreme Court to the United
States Supreme Court. This work, too, has helped me more effectively represent
clients in disability assistance cases, where the final level of appeal
consists of preparing written briefs for submission to state or federal
courts.
For the past fifteen years, I have maintained my own law office.
Every case has received my personal attention,
from the initial interview to the conclusion of the
case. I would be happy to consult with you or your client at no cost to
see if I can be of assistance.
